Founder and Resident Artist   

Su Su Maung founded the Kinnari Center for Burmese Arts and Culture in March 2008, later renaming it to Burma Arts Collaborative in January 2009. She is driven by her own interest in the arts, and her experience as an Overseas Burmese. She is a poetic writer, a dancer, and recently a knitter, who is a Marriage and Family Therapist by profession. She lives in Berkeley, California, USA.

Yin Wint Maung is an oil painter and a rock climber. She has some foundation in Burmese cultural dances in her childhood, though as an adult, she has ventured more towards the visual arts. She is a Web Design Coordinator by profession. She lives in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
